Columbia City, IN - Ultra USSI demonstrated the Monolithic Array (MA-1) Mass Notification System to the US Army this week in Huntsville, AL. The purpose of the demonstration was to show that the lightweight, small footprint MA-1 was capable of quick deployment and operation for tactical use.
Ultra USSI was invited to participate in the demonstration by the US Army PM C-RAM program office. The team successfully demonstrated the Ultra Hyperspike MA-1 integrated with the Army’s WAVES system. The Ultra MA-1 is a very lightweight, compact, high performance Mass Notification Speaker Transducer that produces an ultra wide frequency response and high output volume that allows projection of natural sounding voice and attention getting alert signals to listeners in a full 360 degree omni directional pattern.
The MA-1 was mounted on a 10 Meter mast to demonstrate quick deployment of the MA-1 Speaker for operational use. Ultra also demonstrated the MA-2, the Hyperspike HS-24 Acoustic Hailing Device, and the Hyperspike HS-Micro.
