HyperSpike Wireless Remote Control Module


The HyperSpike Remote Control Module enables wireless or wired command of a remote HyperSpike acoustic hailing device. As an easy add-on module, the battle-tested and ruggedized remote controller provides all the functionality of a HyperSpike device at a safe distance.

Easily readable in sunlight, the OLED menu display allows the users to select one of the following operating modes:
  • Live Microphone Mode
  • Microphone Delay Mode
  • MP3 Mode
  • Auxiliary Mode
  • Wireless Mode
The live microphone reduces squelch and feedback with the built-in anti-feedback circuit; providing safety to the operator and listening area. 4 GB internal memory stores on-the-go announcements in the Mic Delay mode. When the PTT is released, the message is immediately broadcasted. Pre-recorded files are also stored to the 4GB built-in memory and played when MP3 mode is selected.

External audio sources such as CDs, external MP3 devices and cassettes are broadcast in the AUX mode.

Using a 2.4 GHZ frequency agile transmitter, messages are transmitted wirelessly to the receiver module located with the HyperSpike device. The green status indicator on the remote controller assures the transmitter and receiver are linked.

  • Power
  • Mic In
  • Aux In

 

The Wired RCM is compatible with all standard HyperSpike accessories. It is able to control volume via the built-in control knob. 25' is standard. Other lengths available.
